iMarriage August 22 - September 26, Room 101, led by David LaDay
Standing at the altar, we all had a picture of what our marriage would look like. The problem is this picture of marriage results in expectations that we unload on our spouse. The weight of these expectations will rob your marriage of love and joy. As a spouse you never feel like you measure up and you never feel like you are good enough.
So what are you to do with your expectations? This 6-week study examines how you must learn to transform your expectations and look to God if you are to experience marriage as God designed it.
Surprised by Hope: The Future and Why It Matters August 22 - September 26, Room 101, led by Jake Christian
When Christians think of the future, they normally think of “heaven,” but the promised reality is far greater: a new heaven and a new earth, a whole new creation! Once you grasp this biblical vision of God's future, it will transform your view of life in the present.
Join us for this 6-week discussion of the full scope of the future promised by God in the Bible. We'll seek to answer questions like, “What is heaven really like?” “Is our main duty as Christians simply to help non- Christians get there?” “What hope does the gospel message hold for life in the present, and how does God intend for us to experience that hope in our lives, and spread its healing power to the world around us?”
