SB Serve & Missions
We are committed to demonstrating God’s love in concrete, tangible ways in the Omaha community, throughout the United States, and around the world.
StoneBridge Serve provides opportunities to serve people in the Omaha metro area, while our Mission Trips provide opportunities to serve in other areas of the United States and around the world.
Serving God by Serving People
Our highest goal as followers of Jesus is twofold: to love God and to love other people (Matt 22:36-40). And serving is simply love in action - it is the natural outgrowth of Jesus’ call to love other people.
We can serve God by serving people in two general ways. Matthew 28:18-20 shows us that the first is to make disciples, which includes sharing our faith with the people around us, and helping each other to grow in our understanding of the Bible and the life Jesus has called us to live.
Isaiah 58:6-7 helps us understand the second way we serve God by serving people: by showing compassion and working for justice. God calls his people to show compassion and provide care for everyone in need (see, for example, the Parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:30-37). And he calls them to work on the side of the powerless against their oppressors: those who would use their power to take what does not belong to them.
Our goal is to provide opportunities for the StoneBridge community to love people in each of these ways. Click on the links above to see how you can get involved!

Let the oppressed go free, and remove the chains that bind people. Share your food with the hungry, and give shelter to the homeless.
